Community Kitchen

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat… I was a stranger and you invited me in.”

St. Alban’s has long been a place of welcome and care in Tillamook. Today, we are working to restore our ability to serve meals to the community by renovating our kitchen and improving accessibility throughout our building.

What We’re Building

In 2025, we began raising funds to make essential upgrades to our church:

  • Renovating the kitchen to meet Oregon’s licensing requirements

  • Creating a fully accessible restroom to meet ADA standards

  • Improving access so all members of our community can participate

These improvements will allow us to safely prepare and serve hot meals to those who need them most.

A Space for Community Care

Our vision is to reopen our kitchen as a place where neighbors can gather, share meals, and find connection. These meals are more than food — they are an expression of dignity, hospitality, and belonging.

Looking Ahead

These renovations are part of a larger vision: a church that serves the community not only today, but for generations to come.
